Otolaryngology

The wide scope of ENT:

Otolaryngologists are commonly known as Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) doctors. However, this phrase describes only part of our practice. Most patients are surprised to learn that Dr. Tudoran was also trained to become a highly skilled facial cosmetic surgeon. Because otolaryngologists receive specialized training in the function of facial features, most ENT specialists believe cosmetic surgery belongs in this field. After all, the most beautiful nose in the world is useless to a patient who can’t breathe. In addition, due to Dr. Tudoran’s extensive experience, we are able to bring you the latest advances in otolaryngology and allergy immunology.

Allergy Services:

Because allergies affect interrelated areas of the head and neck, an otolaryngologist is the specialist trained to diagnose and treat allergies. Diagnosis is done by blood testing and skin testing using the newest technology available. Treatment is individualized for each patient.

We are committed to keep your medical costs as low as possible without reducing the quality of our service to you. One way to accomplish this is by requesting payment at the time of your visit. For your convenience, we accept Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express.

We are a participating provider of MEDICARE and many national insurance companies and plans.

What is an Otolaryngologist?

Otolaryngologists (also called ear-nose-and-throat, or ENT, doctors) are physicians who have advanced training in disorders of the ear, nose, throat and head and neck. Otologists or neurotologists are physicians who in addition to their ENT requirements continue their specialized training for an additional year or more in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the ear.  An Otolaryngic Allergist can treat and/or resolve allergic manifestations.

Otolaryngologists, neurotologists and otologists are the physicians who typically treat disorders of the ear (or hearing mechanisms) requiring medical or surgical solutions.  Doctor Stela Tudoran specializes in otolaryngic allergies and their treatment.
